PG&E Requires a disconnect switch (they call it a Visible Lockable
Disconnect - VLD) so that their line workers can be sure that our system won't
be sending power down the line when they are working on it. It's mounted
right next to the main entrance panel.

Believe it or not, this was the part of the
installation that worried me the most. I had never worked with
stucco before and I had visions of a big crack starting and running all
the way up the wall. Luckily I had lost of support at work from
folks that had worked with stucco before and they quelled my
fears. It went without a hitch.

This is the inside of the wall where the VLD is
mounted. The hole that's patched up to the right gave me access to
the top of the main entrance panel so I could run the power through the
VLD.

| I had to remove a cabinet to get access to the
wall. Now that the cabinet is back I only have to mud and tape a
small little square. |
